About The KohOscars

Founded in 2015 by Kaleb Koho, The KohOscars aim to annually celebrate the best in cinema and highlight films that may be overlooked by traditional awards. With the assistance of a rotating nominating body, we present twenty-nine categories of seven nominees per category, with the exception of Best Picture, which boasts ten nominees annually. We are proud to call Multiplex Entertainment our home since 2018 and returned to live presentations in 2025. We invite you to take part in our annual celebration of film every year.
